Custom Precision-Cast Rings and Toothed-Profile Blanks
Specify the ring or profiled blank you need before assigning it a finished transmission role. Relia reviews the cast contour, material, bore, faces and included finishing against your drawing. A toothed appearance does not establish a finished gear grade or transmission performance.

The Required Part Is Identified Before the Process
Relia reviews the blank and the specified finishing as a defined component package. We identify the cast profile, bore and contact faces and any work that remains with your team. This keeps a ring or profiled-blank enquiry distinct from an assumed complete transmission component.
Inner and Outer Profiles Need Mating References
Show the real profile and mating geometry on a controlled drawing. A plain ring, castellated ring and lobed blank have different contact and finishing needs. Identify which edges are functional and which simply form the outside shape so the proposal follows the actual part.

Agree the Actual Casting Material and Condition
Approve the casting material and required delivered condition. Nominal stainless options in a catalogue do not select the grade of a specific blank. Include any treatment or material evidence needed before the component moves into finishing or assembly.
The Casting Proposal Defines the Blank Features
The casting review considers section transitions, pattern access, feed contacts and cleanup around the ring or profile. Proposed changes must preserve the required working contour. We distinguish an achievable cast shape from a feature that needs a separate controlled finishing operation.

Secondary Operations Require Explicit Scope Confirmation
Define bores, faces, profile areas and datums that require machining. If the part has a gear or another precision transmission function, provide the actual standard and finishing requirements for review. Do not substitute a photograph or a general casting tolerance for that specification.
Cleanup Preserves the Working Contour and Finishing Stock
Cleanup should preserve the working contour and the material needed for later cuts. Mark restricted regions and any permissible edge finishing. A burr or local blend that is harmless on a nonfunctional outline may matter at a contact or mating profile.

Samples Follow Each Part Number and Requirement
Sample acceptance should identify the supplied blank, the measured features and its delivered state. We can provide agreed key dimensional records for the order. Where final machining or functional qualification is outside our scope, keep the acceptance handoff and later responsibilities explicit.
A Quote Makes Blank and Finished Options Comparable
Include the contour drawing, material, sample and repeat quantities and the finishing boundary in the RFQ. State the records needed at delivery and any later machining performed by your team. The quote should describe a specific accepted blank rather than an undefined precision gear.
Send the Ring Profile and Mating-Part Drawings
Send the ring or profiled-blank drawing with functional contours, bores and finishing regions marked. Add material, quantity and any applicable precision standard. We can review the cast shape and a clear acceptance boundary before sample manufacture.
