Multi-Part Casting Orders for Importers and Distributors

Relia can review several custom casting part numbers in one enquiry while keeping each drawing, material and acceptance scope separate. Send a BOM with revisions, supplied conditions and quantities. Shared delivery is agreed around those line items, so receiving and reordering remain clear rather than turning different components into an undefined kit.
Read the overview and page sections
Send a BOM with the drawing revision, material and quantity for each line. We keep the manufacturing and acceptance requirements separate while discussing shared delivery needs, so your team can compare quotations, identify received parts and reorder the correct revision without treating different components as one generic kit.
Combined Purchasing Retains Item-Level Manufacturing Detail
Relia follows the individual drawing behind every housing, fitting, sleeve or support in the enquiry. Each BOM line retains its own material, casting or forming route, CNC scope and acceptance requirements. Combined delivery, labels or mixed quantities are agreed as commercial scope rather than assumed from the presence of several products in one photograph.

Make Every BOM Line Independently Quotable
The BOM is the link between the technical drawing and your warehouse identity. Similar-looking components still need separate controlled references.
| BOM field | What to include | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| Item identity | Your item code and drawing revision | Prevents substitution between similar parts |
| Material and state | One actual alloy, treatment and finish per line | Separates incompatible process requirements |
| Quantity | Sample, order and repeat needs separately | Makes tooling and release assumptions visible |
| Receiving pack | Label, document and protection requirements | Connects each package to its purchase line |
Trial Orders Have a Defined Purpose
A trial order may assess fit, packing, documentation or the proposed manufacturing route. State the decision each trial is intended to support and how it will be accepted. An initial mixed order does not automatically approve future variants or establish the service performance of every item supplied.
Keep Each BOM Line Identifiable Through Manufacturing and Packing
A shared order can include components made by different routes and accepted in different conditions. Keep the part number and revision beside the material, finished interfaces and required records for each item. Similar-looking sleeves or flanges are particularly easy to confuse when identification relies only on shape.
After the included manufacturing and checks, the agreed packing arrangement should separate items and protect vulnerable bores, threads and projecting features. Relia discusses labels, quantities and document references against the BOM. This lets your receiving team reconcile the delivery line by line, while any combined-shipment or inventory service remains a defined part of the order.
Consolidate purchasing and logistics only within the agreed order scope. A shared shipment does not combine the technical acceptance of different parts.
Track Tooling and Reorders by Component
Different BOM lines can move through different manufacturing sequences.

- Keep a route and acceptance basis for each part
- Release repeat BOM lines by their current revision

Keep a route and acceptance basis for each part
A sand-cast housing, investment-cast fitting and turned sleeve need their own tools, setup references and acceptance checks. Combining the commercial enquiry does not combine their material identities or make one sample approval cover every line.
Release repeat BOM lines by their current revision
Relia's review can connect each part number with its current drawing and relevant tooling information. For a repeat order, show whether the quantity, material condition or finish has changed. A line-by-line release list then supports packing and receiving without losing the technical definition inside a consolidated shipment.

Consolidate Logistics Without Mixing Component Acceptance
A shared shipment does not mean a shared inspection result. Keep the part and batch references visible even when deliveries are combined.
| Handoff | Control to define | Document link |
|---|---|---|
| Quotation | Quote included operations for each line | BOM and drawing reference |
| Approval | Accept the defined sample or first article | Item-specific approval status |
| Packing | Separate and identify similar components | Item, quantity and lot on the pack list |
| Delivery | Supply agreed records for each component | Shipment list connected to line-level evidence |
Combined Purchasing Uses Transparent Terms
Discuss consolidation, shipment timing and delivery terms for the actual order. Identify which items are ready and which depend on tooling or approval. Pricing should show the individual component scopes and any shared order work; private labelling, held stock or guaranteed availability are included only when separately agreed.
Send the Details for Your Component Review
Tell us what you need to buy and the condition you need to receive. Relia Casting will review the component, manufacturing scope and requested evidence with you before an order is agreed.
- Line-item part and revision list
- Drawing and material for each item
- Trial and replenishment quantities
- Item-specific records and approvals
- Separation and shipment requirements
