Choose the component and its casting route
The examples include round housings, finned forms and shaped mounting components. Identify the required part with a drawing and specify the aluminum alloy, wall sections and features that connect to the assembly.
State whether the enquiry calls for sand casting or die casting. Define the required finished dimensions and surfaces needing machining, rather than treating all example shapes as one process specification.
After-casting requirements
Include deburring, finish and quantities, with the current drawing revision. Mark critical bore, flange and fixing dimensions and the inspection records required for the actual component.
