The dark example has elongated center openings and formed edge regions with additional holes. Dimension the slots and holes from the finished mounting faces, including the clearance required after bending and coating.
Specify the sheet grade and thickness, with any CNC work or joining requirements. If a spring function is intended, define the material condition and force or deflection criteria separately; the plate shape does not establish spring behavior.
Review the finished mounting fit
Include quantities, finish and drawing revision. Mark the slot spacing, bend locations and hole positions for inspection. Similar slotted plates do not independently establish a distinct size, service load or tested elastic function.
