Define the mounting panel through its regular hole pattern, bent edges and projecting corner tabs. The black example provides visible sheet-component geometry, but does not establish stainless steel versus aluminum, actual thickness or a numerical precision capability for the supplied part.
Locate the perforations from the fixing tabs
Provide flat and formed drawings with the required hole pattern and tab positions referenced to assembly datums. Identify adjoining parts and the contact or clearance surfaces that control installation. Specify any inserts, threads or fasteners separately, including whether they form part of the delivered panel.
- Identify the perforated panel and drawing revision.
- Specify actual alloy grade and sheet thickness.
- Dimension hole pattern, edge bends and fixing tabs.
- Define cutting or stamping and selected finish.
- Agree formed-panel inspection and application tests.
Choose the sheet material and forming plan
Stainless steel and aluminum require separate grade and condition selections. Define the intended cutting, stamping and bending operations for the controlled geometry, with any edge finishing specified where needed. A photograph or general equipment entry does not independently verify how this particular perforated panel was manufactured.
Express precision through measurable acceptance
Mark tolerances with units, datums and final measurement conditions at the working interfaces. Choose a compatible treatment and appearance requirement. Actual load, environmental or automotive requirements need service conditions and applicable evidence; a grid of holes does not establish qualification for a particular machine.
Include quantities, controlled geometry and requested material or inspection documentation. Keep the supplied-panel scope aligned with the actual mounting arrangement when comparing fabrication proposals.
