A custom cast iron floor base needs clearly defined mounting dimensions and finished contact surfaces. This HT150 iron base combines sand casting with CNC machining, with customized size and color. Paint, powder coating and zinc plating are available surface treatment enquiries for the finished component, depending on the requirements agreed for the base drawing.
Define the floor base mounting geometry
For an HT150 base, show the contact footprint, fixing positions and interfaces to the supported assembly. Mark any faces that need machining after the casting is produced. The outline of a floor base does not establish its load rating, so include the intended loads and installation conditions where these affect the design or acceptance of the part.
Identify the cast and machined surfaces
Sand casting and CNC machining serve different stages of the HT150 base configuration. Specify which dimensions can remain in the cast condition and which surfaces control alignment or assembly fit. Include the required dimensional acceptance and measurement locations in the drawing package rather than assuming a numerical tolerance from the manufacturing route alone.
Agree the finished base specification
State the chosen color and treatment, including any mounting or contact areas that need special coating attention. Wooden-crate packing is identified for the custom iron base; discuss the protection needed for the finished surfaces. Before approving an order, confirm the current tooling schedule and request any applicable certification documents needed by the project instead of relying on a historical label or a general production-time entry.
