The examples have forked ends, fixing holes and shaped mounting plates. Identify the required part on a drawing and dimension the arm spacing, hole pattern and contact faces from the assembly references.
For an iron investment-casting enquiry, specify the grade and machining requirements. If zinc plating is requested, state the coating specification and any thread or contact surfaces needing separate control.
Requirements after finishing
Include quantities, mating hardware and drawing revision. Mark fit dimensions and inspection criteria for the plated component, including any coating allowances at the working interfaces.
