Mounting tabs aligned with plate openings
The illustrated plate has four large round openings, smaller slots, edge notches and several upright mounting tabs. Establish the plate face as a reference when dimensioning the tabs and the openings that align with adjoining components.
For steel, stainless steel or aluminum fabrication enquiries, specify the sheet grade and thickness, tab heights and bend positions. Add the fastener clearances and the edge condition needed around the notches.
Define the finished part
Provide STEP, STP or PDF drawings and the order quantities. For powder coating, identify the color, cosmetic surfaces and any mounting or contact areas that require masking. Include the drawing revision and the dimensions to inspect after forming.
