Define the recessed ported body

The example shows an open recessed body with threaded side connections and an SCS13A mark. The visible mark is not an independent material certificate, pressure qualification or complete-valve specification.

Use the required stainless grade and drawing revision to establish a casting and machining proposal. Different operations should be allocated to actual features rather than assumed necessary because they appear in the process menu.

Locate the machining requirements

The recess and port threads need coordinated dimensional references. Identify each finished surface and required operation so that tool approach and inspection can be reviewed.

• Reference the recess and mating faces to datums.
• Dimension side-port locations and thread forms.
• Identify any laser-processed or broached feature.
• Provide PDF/CAD or IGES/STEP geometry.
• Set material evidence and final inspection criteria.

Confirm quantities, blank route and alloy-compatible finishing. Any sealing or service-duty requirement needs its own acceptance evidence; appearance alone does not establish operating performance.
