The illustrated model 2204 component has a finned body and a base with mounting features. This aluminum casting enquiry identifies die casting, deburring and machining-related work, with customer-defined dimensions. A380 and ADC12 requirements should be confirmed for the ordered alloy and manufacturing proposal.
Define the fins and the mounting base
Provide the fin arrangement, base outline and mounting dimensions in the component drawing. Identify the faces that control assembly and any features requiring a finished dimensional condition after casting. The finned shape can guide the geometry discussion, while any required thermal performance needs its own operating conditions and acceptance evidence.
Confirm alloy, casting route and finish
Select the A380, ADC12 or other agreed aluminum grade and request the corresponding material documents. Discuss painting, powder coating or oxidation for the surfaces requiring treatment. If sand casting is required for the project, obtain a separate route confirmation before treating it as the same configuration as the die-casting proposal.
Submit the model 2204 drawing revision, quantity and inspection requirements with the enquiry. Agree the casting and finishing scope, material evidence and mounting acceptance for the actual component; no numerical precision or thermal capacity is supplied by its appearance alone.
