Dimension the channel from its mounting flanges
The illustrated component has a recessed center channel, flat side flanges with holes and an upright end plate. The relationship between those flanges and the end plate is important when describing its fit within an assembly.
For a bending or stamping enquiry, provide the sheet thickness, channel section, hole locations and end-plate geometry. Galvanized sheet, steel, aluminum and stainless steel are material options for this custom fabrication range; name the selected grade on the drawing.
Finish and inspection details
Specify the finish for the chosen material and identify any mounting surfaces or threads requiring protection. Provide PDF/CAD drawings or IGES/STEP/STP geometry, quantities and the drawing revision. Mark the dimensions used to inspect the formed part, including flange spacing and the position of the upright end.
