Define each mining connection ring from its chain interface and joint arrangement. The two blue examples show oval outlines, two openings and central regions with interlocking-looking seam profiles. Their appearance identifies a connector family, but it does not establish the actual steel grade, dimensions, forging history or permissible duty.

Describe the chain contact and joint regions

Provide the connector drawing together with the adjoining chain geometry. Show contact radii, opening sizes, section changes and the required assembly or retention details. Identify any separate locking pieces included in the delivery rather than assuming that the visible joint shape proves a complete locking system.

Specify the forged steel component

State the actual steel grade, required condition and material documentation. Review the proposed forging route, any subsequent machining and the selected compatible surface treatment. A blue appearance or cast marking cannot independently verify heat treatment, strength or a current component manufacturer.

  • Reference each oval connector and chain drawing.
  • Select steel grade and required material condition.
  • Define openings, contact sections and joint retention.
  • Specify forging, machining and final treatment.
  • Agree application tests and traceable acceptance records.

Qualify the link for its actual duty

Provide operating loads, duty conditions and applicable acceptance requirements for the intended mining assembly. Working load, breaking force, fatigue performance and chain compatibility need suitable engineering and test evidence; they cannot be assigned from a catalogue photograph.

Include quantities, drawing revisions and the requested inspection scope. Distinguish different connector sizes or configurations on separate lines so the proposed supply can be checked against the correct chain arrangement.

Please include the drawing revision, material specification, quantity, critical dimensions, finish and inspection documents needed for your part. Tooling, samples, delivery and any return or remedy arrangements are subject to the agreed order terms.
