Define the machinery component through its actual connections before selecting stainless steel, carbon steel or aluminum. The examples show linked U-shaped brackets, lever-like plates and cross-shaped arms with circular end regions. Similar joint forms do not establish a vehicle fit, bearing supply or a complete matched assembly.

Locate pivots and circular ends together

Provide individual component drawings and the relationship to adjoining pieces. Dimension pivot centers, end openings and contact faces from functional datums, marking clearances or movement requirements where relevant. State any pins, bearings or other hardware included in the delivery rather than assuming the examples define the contents.

  • Identify each machinery bracket, lever or arm drawing.
  • Specify actual stainless, carbon-steel or aluminum grade.
  • Dimension pivot centers and circular-end contacts.
  • Define casting, machining and hardware supply.
  • Agree finished fit and intended movement acceptance.

Choose the blank plan for the selected metal

Include material condition, section geometry and quantities by revision. Review the casting route, machining allowances and compatible treatment for that actual design. A material range does not establish common properties or one production method for every bracket and arm.

Inspect the linkage contacts in final condition

Use PDF or CAD dimensions and IGES or STEP models where available. Mark tolerance units and measurement conditions at the functional interfaces, alongside material records and any applicable load or operating tests. Shape and general certificate references do not verify rated movement, working load or current qualification.

Compare casting proposals using the same component boundaries, supplied hardware and controlled pivot relationships within the machinery assembly.
