Start with the motor mounting interface
For an aluminum motor-base or housing project, provide the motor interface, mounting arrangement and the part drawing. Identify the alloy requirement and separate the cast outline from surfaces that need CNC machining. Motor model compatibility and operating loads need their own specifications.
The examples show shallow open-center components with rounded outer corners and circular raised areas. Use the drawing to locate the central opening, corner features and finished faces. If a particular example is relevant, identify it explicitly; these photographs alone do not establish a complete motor housing or a specific mounting standard.
- Supply overall dimensions, wall sections and references for locating faces.
- Mark holes and contact areas requiring final machining or finish protection.
- Include quantities, finish requirements and the dimensions to be reported during inspection.
PDF/CAD drawings and IGES/STEP models can be used for the custom-part review. Agree the selected casting route and machining scope for the individual design before production.
