Specify the ring-shaped support as an individual component for the actual pump or valve project. The orange example has a broad central opening joined to a support region and raised rear edge. Its color does not verify coating chemistry, stainless composition or ductile-iron grade.
Define the ring and supporting geometry together
Provide a controlled drawing showing the opening, ring section and mounting or contact faces required by the assembly. Locate those relationships from functional datums and include adjoining-part dimensions where needed. The form alone does not establish valve operation, a pump function or a working-load limit.
Select the metal for the intended service
State actual stainless or ductile-iron grade, applicable material standard and delivery condition. Include quantities and casting sections so the proposed route can be evaluated for that alloy. Select machining, treatment and finishing requirements for the actual design instead of assuming every method applies to both material families.
- Identify the pump or valve ring-support drawing.
- Specify actual stainless or ductile-iron grade.
- Dimension the ring opening and support contacts.
- Define casting, machining and selected surface condition.
- Agree component inspection and intended-duty records.
Separate dimensional acceptance from a fluid rating
Submit PDF or CAD dimensions and IGES or STEP geometry where available. Mark tolerance units and final measurement conditions, with material records and any required functional tests. A pump/valve reference or a general certificate entry does not verify pressure, sealing, flow, corrosion performance or current applicable certification.
Evaluate the OEM proposal against this support's actual material, ring-to-mount geometry and the acceptance requirements of the defined installation.

Zenithus offers custom precision pump valve parts casting services, utilizing advanced stainless steel and ductile iron materials. Our factory supports a wide range of metals including aluminum, brass, bronze, copper, and various hardened and precious metals.
