Control the bore and mounting face together

A shared datum makes the raised center and outer fixing pattern inspectable. Define the fitted surfaces and clearances for the selected flange.

• Locate the bore axis and raised central feature.
• Set face relationships and fixing-hole positions.
• Identify any broached or laser-processed feature.
• Specify actual alloy, blank and machining stock.
• Attach the flange revision in PDF/CAD or IGES/STEP form.

Assign the CNC inspection requirements

Drilling and milling should follow feature-level limits and measurement methods. Define sealing or fitted surfaces explicitly rather than treating every visible face as functionally identical.

Agree the individual flange order

Confirm compatible finishing, quantities and delivery. Any duty, standard-compliance or pressure requirement needs its own acceptance evidence; generic factory-supply wording cannot establish those conditions.
