Define the box component through its bent walls, rectangular openings and elongated slots. The light example also has fixing holes around the panel regions. Its appearance provides sheet-component geometry, but does not establish actual aluminum grade, sheet thickness, airflow performance or a completed electronics enclosure.
Locate the openings from the formed walls
Provide flat and formed drawings, identifying bends, contact surfaces and fixing regions from assembly datums. Show adjoining panels and any required clearances. Specify covers, inserts or fasteners separately and state which pieces are included rather than assuming the open box defines a complete supplied assembly.
Choose the aluminum and sheet-fabrication plan
State the actual alloy grade, condition and sheet thickness with required material records. Define cutting or stamping, bending and any secondary edge or joining work for the controlled design. A general process entry does not establish a die-casting route for this particular sheet-box request.
- Identify the bent box and mating-panel drawings.
- Specify aluminum grade, condition and sheet thickness.
- Dimension openings, slots, fixing holes and bends.
- Define fabrication, edge finish and compatible treatment.
- Agree formed-box inspection and assembly evidence.
Accept the finished enclosure interfaces
Mark tolerances with units and final measurement conditions at the working contacts. Choose paint, powder coating or another compatible finish where required. Any sealing, electrical, thermal or environmental requirement needs actual service conditions and applicable tests; slotted openings do not demonstrate a verified ventilation rating.
Provide box quantities, flat and formed drawing revisions, aluminum material requirements and inspection documentation. Keep the delivered enclosure component separate from a completed electrical product or an independently specified qualification programme.
