Identify the hardware and its installation

The examples include a long faceplate, a handle with a mounting base, angular fittings, a round cover and a curved component. Select the individual part required and provide its installation drawing. Define mounting-hole positions, cutouts, mating surfaces and any moving interfaces.

For a marine-hardware enquiry involving 304, 201 or 316 stainless steel, specify the required grade and the actual exposure conditions. These grade names should not be treated as interchangeable proof of seawater suitability. Surface finish, assembly details and any corrosion-testing requirements belong in the project specification.

Send PDF/CAD dimensions or an IGES/STEP model, quantities per item and the machining features to be inspected. Identify decorative surfaces and areas to protect during finishing. The pictured finishes and shapes alone do not confirm an alloy, corrosion rating, certification or compatibility with a particular boat.
