Define the bracket through its parallel ears, connecting rear bridge and circular openings. The light U-like example has rounded lower end regions around the holes. Its appearance does not establish aluminum versus stainless steel, actual sheet thickness, included pins or an allowable working load.
Locate the ear holes from the rear bridge
Provide sections and flat and formed geometry referenced to assembly datums. Identify the adjoining component and any pin, bolt or alternative connection definition. Specify hole fit, spacing and contact clearances from the actual installation rather than scaling the photograph or assuming the mating hardware is included.
- Reference the twin-ear bracket and mating drawings.
- Specify the bracket's alloy, condition and sheet thickness.
- Dimension ear spacing, holes and rear-bridge contacts.
- Define punching, stamping, bends and compatible finish.
- Agree fit inspection and application evidence.
Choose the metal and forming requirements
Aluminum and stainless steel are separate material directions. State actual grade, condition and required material records, then define cutting or punching, stamping and bending for the controlled design. The visible form does not independently prove a particular fabrication route or a shared material with other catalogue examples.
Accept the bracket in its supplied condition
Specify powder coating or another compatible surface system with color, masking and appearance criteria where needed. Define tolerance units and inspection conditions at the parallel ears, holes and rear bridge. Load, electrical or environmental requirements need actual operating conditions and applicable evidence.
Include STEP, STP or PDF geometry, quantities and requested inspection documentation. Keep bracket-only supply separate from any completed pin assembly or independently specified installation qualification.
