Use the controlled plate drawing to define the two adjoining circular regions and their cutouts. The black example has curved slots and lettering-shaped openings across a flat sheet-like face. Those details describe geometry, while actual metal, thickness, kit contents and functional requirements must be specified independently.
Reference the slots and artwork to the plate outline
Provide a flat drawing with actual dimensions, locating the circular regions, curved openings and smaller details from defined datums. Supply the required artwork separately where lettering is included. State which components belong to any requested kit instead of treating a single photographed plate as a complete package.
Select cutting and any subsequent forming work
Steel, aluminum, copper, stainless steel and brass are separate material options, with actual grade and condition selected for the order. Define laser cutting or stamping, drilling, bending and any assembly only where the design requires them. Surface appearance is not independent proof of the fabrication route.
Accept cut edges and the finished plate
Specify edge condition, tolerances with units and final inspection criteria at the slots and adjoining regions. Choose the plate's compatible paint, powder coating, plating or polished surface where requested. Actual rotation, airflow, load or equipment requirements need service conditions and applicable evidence rather than an assumed function from circular shapes.
- Reference the twin-round plate and artwork revision.
- Specify actual metal grade and sheet thickness.
- Dimension curved slots, lettering and outline contacts.
- Define cutting, edge finish and kit scope.
- Agree coating and dimensional acceptance records.
Include CAD, DWG, STEP, PDF or IGS geometry, quantities and required material documentation. Reference the actual artwork revision, cut-edge requirements and selected surface condition so the fabricated plate follows the intended design and inspection definition.
