The housing example has a rectangular window, a stepped recess around the opening, threaded fixing positions and openings along one edge. Define the internal clearance and mating cover interface together with the surfaces used to locate the part.
Machining requirements for the housing
Model S2209 lists CNC turning, milling and drilling, with aluminum, stainless steel and brass material options. Specify the grade, quantities and inspection requirements. Identify any five-axis machining requirement separately for setup review; the number of axes is not established by the part photograph. Choose a finish suitable for the selected metal and define surfaces that need masking or fit control after finishing.
