Thread and recessed-head geometry
The examples show threaded shanks joined to broad cylindrical heads with recessed faces. Specify the thread form, pitch and engagement length, then dimension the head diameter, recess and transition to the shank from the assembly references.
Define the base metal and finish separately
For a steel component with zinc plating, state the steel grade and coating requirement. If another base metal is required, identify it separately; a material-options list does not specify the photographed component.
Provide the part drawing or CAD geometry, quantities and mating-thread information. Include finish allowances and inspection requirements for the finished threads, head dimensions and locating surfaces.
