Define the panel separately from any installed control equipment. The dark example has two large round openings, additional cutouts, smaller fixing holes, a bent lower region and printed control-like symbols. These markings do not establish live controls, electrical approval or compatibility with a particular machine.
Locate cutouts and artwork from the panel datums
Provide flat and formed geometry with the mating-component drawing. Specify actual opening and fixing-hole positions, contact surfaces and clearances. Define printed symbols, orientation and appearance from the required artwork rather than inferring the intended electrical function from a photographed label.
Select aluminum and the fabrication scope
State the actual alloy grade, condition and sheet thickness. Other listed metals require separate selections where requested. Define cutting, stamping, bending and any joining or secondary work for the controlled design. A dark surface does not prove aluminum chemistry, coating composition or a particular manufacturing route.
- Reference the cutout panel and mating assembly.
- Specify actual aluminum grade and thickness.
- Dimension openings, fixing holes and bent region.
- Define finish, masking and any printed artwork.
- Agree panel inspection and application evidence.
Accept the finished panel for its actual installation
Mark tolerances with units and final measurement conditions at the working contacts. Any electrical, mechanical, sealing or environmental requirement needs actual service conditions and applicable tests. Printed symbols alone establish no completed-equipment qualification or allowable duty.
Provide CAD, DWG, STEP, PDF or IGS panel drawings, actual artwork revisions, quantities and aluminum material or inspection records. Keep the fabricated face panel separate from instruments, electronics and any independently specified completed equipment assembly.
