Define the actual component and supplied assembly scope from controlled drawings. The dark example shows plate-like arms, a projecting metal rod, a rectangular contact plate and visible fasteners. Its mechanical appearance does not establish a gripping function, allowable load, stainless grade or a complete supplied mechanism.
Separate the plate arms from adjoining hardware
Provide individual component sections and the assembly relationship between arms, rod and contact plate. Locate fixing and mating regions from functional datums. Identify which fasteners, inserts or other pieces are included, with separate material and connection requirements for each supplied part.
- Reference plate-arm and assembly drawing revisions.
- Specify actual metal grades and section dimensions.
- Locate rod, contact plate and fixing interfaces.
- Define fabrication, joining and selected surface finish.
- Agree assembly checks and intended-duty evidence.
Select the manufacturing plan by component
Stainless steel is a title material direction; other listed metals are separate grade choices. Define actual condition and thickness or section requirements. Specify cutting, stamping, bending, welding or secondary work only where required by each controlled part, rather than assuming one process sequence applies to the complete example.
Accept the finished interfaces for their stated use
Mark tolerances with units and final measurement conditions, and select compatible treatment for each material. Any gripping, load, joint-strength or environmental requirement needs actual service conditions and applicable evidence. The photograph does not independently establish functional capability or current certification.
Include CAD, DWG, STEP, PDF or IGS geometry, quantities and requested material or inspection documentation. Keep component-only and assembled supply clearly distinguished.
