Identify the spare component by its controlled drawing and the interfaces it must provide. The example is a short metal part with a curved upper surface, a large central opening, two smaller top openings and a straight lower-edge detail. These features help locate the enquiry without proving a flashlight or power-supply function.
Make the bore and mounting references clear
Provide the outside shape, overall dimensions and central-opening requirements. Locate the smaller openings from the drawing datums and identify the surfaces that contact adjoining parts. If the lower-edge detail has a locating, gripping or other role, define it on the drawing rather than inferring its function from the image.
- Identify the component number and controlled drawing revision.
- Dimension the bore, smaller openings and mating faces.
- Select the actual aluminum grade and supplied condition.
- Mark machining and material-appropriate finishing requirements.
- Define inspection records and included component quantities.
Separate the part specification from the service menu
The catalogue lists CNC machining routes and a wider material capability range. Choose the operations and actual alloy needed for this component. The menu does not establish that every sample uses the same process, material or setup, and an aluminum direction does not independently identify the composition of the pictured part.
Assign limits to the dimensions that control assembly. The ±0.05 reference needs units, affected features and measurement criteria before it becomes an acceptance requirement. Select anodizing, coating or another finish for the actual material and identify any masking required at the bore or contact surfaces.
Define the custom spare-part supply
For an OEM or ODM enquiry, provide the component drawing or the design information that defines the requested development scope. Power-supply and flashlight fields are catalogue contexts, not proof of fit to a particular assembly. Include the mating details and any application-specific acceptance criteria relevant to the actual part. Confirm current quantities, documentation and delivered condition. A clear request connects one component geometry to its material, machining and inspection requirements, allowing proposals to address the same spare part rather than different interpretations of a general product name.
