Turned ends and flat mounting features
The illustrated small components combine conical ends and cylindrical shoulders with flat tabs containing two fixing holes. CNC turning, milling and drilling can be reviewed together for an aluminum part that needs both rotational features and a defined mounting position.
Dimension the cone, shoulder diameters, tab thickness and hole centers from common references. Identify mating surfaces and the edges that need deburring. A finished drawing should state the required units and tolerances for each fitted feature.
