Aluminum brackets made to a customer drawing need a defined mounting shape and a finish that suits the assembly. DM2101 custom casting parts use aluminum, with customer-required dimensions and a die casting, deburring and machining process. Paint, powder coating and oxidation are available surface treatment enquiries, supported by OEM and ODM service.
Define the bracket from its connection points
For a DM2101 aluminum bracket, show the mounting faces, fixing-hole locations and the space occupied by adjoining components. Mark which interfaces need machining after casting. These details establish the bracket configuration to review and help distinguish the cast shape from the finished contact surfaces needed for the assembly.
Discuss the cast-to-machined condition
The DM2101 route includes die casting, deburring and machining, so identify the required final condition of edges, holes and mating faces. Provide a drawing with the dimensions that control fit and note any surfaces that require separate acceptance criteria. Material grade and numerical tolerances should be agreed for the specific aluminum bracket rather than assumed from the general process name.
Choose the coating around the finished geometry
For powder coated, painted or oxidized brackets, identify the visible faces and any contact areas needing special attention. Include the chosen color or finish reference with the dimensional drawing. The DM2101 service lists in-house mold making and professional inspection; confirm the mold requirements and inspection scope appropriate to the bracket before the OEM or ODM order is approved.
