This custom steel mining connection fork is presented as a component enquiry for a defined chain or industrial assembly. The photographs show an open U-shaped body with separated arms and a circular hole at each end. No closing pin is shown, so the requested supply scope and the mating closure need to be defined separately.
Specify the fork and mating components
Use model 1104 as a catalogue reference with the part drawing and revision. Dimension the arm spacing, end-hole diameters, hole positions and the offset transition into the curved body. Identify the mating component and the available clearance so that the drawing describes the complete interface rather than the outside appearance alone.
State whether the enquiry covers the fork body only or includes a pin and other retaining parts. Mark surfaces that need finished dimensions and the inspection criteria for those interfaces. A raised mark or yellow surface appearance in a photograph does not establish a verified size, coating specification or working-load rating.
Agree the steel grade and manufacturing route
The parameter table identifies steel but does not select a grade or condition. Specify those requirements and the supporting material documentation. For a custom forging service enquiry, agree the applicable manufacturing route against the drawing before ordering; this page does not confirm one production route for every pictured component.
Define any required machining and the selected surface treatment together with the finished dimensions. The order specification should make the manufacturing process, material condition and inspection scope consistent with the intended part. General process wording should not be treated as an accepted manufacturing plan for the assembly.
Set component-specific acceptance criteria
- Provide the fork drawing, mating geometry and quantity.
- Specify material grade, condition and manufacturing route.
- Define end holes, arm spacing and supplied closure parts.
- State treatment, inspection records and operating-duty requirements.
- Identify which pin or retaining parts belong to the requested supply scope.
Where the use depends on load capacity, fatigue behavior or safety approval, require evidence applicable to the actual design. The open fork shape and general industrial application do not establish fitness for lifting or a particular mining chain. Confirm the component scope and acceptance requirements before selection.
