Define the enclosure panel separately from a completed electronic enclosure. The yellow-green example has a broad irregular opening, smaller fixing holes and folded perimeter edges. It gives a sheet-component reference, without proving installed electronics, sealing, actual aluminum versus steel or a verified surface-treatment chemistry.
Locate the shaped opening from the perimeter
Provide flat and formed drawings with the actual mating-component geometry. Reference the opening profile, fixing holes and folded contacts to assembly datums, marking clearances needed for adjoining parts. Identify inserts, fasteners or other supplied pieces separately rather than assuming an open panel includes enclosure hardware or electronics.
Select the material and required cutting route
Aluminum is a title direction, with steel identified as another fabrication option. Choose actual grade, condition and sheet thickness for the requested component. Define laser cutting, stamping, bending and secondary edge work as required by the controlled design; a title combining these services does not prove every operation applies to the example.
Accept the panel in its finished condition
Specify a compatible powder-coating or other selected surface system, color and masking at working interfaces. Mark tolerance units and final measurement conditions around the opening and fixing contacts. Electrical, mechanical, sealing or environmental requirements need actual operating conditions and applicable evidence for the intended assembly.
- Reference the shaped panel and mating drawing.
- Choose actual aluminum or steel specification.
- Dimension the opening, holes and folded perimeter.
- Define fabrication, coating and included hardware.
- Agree panel checks and completed-assembly evidence.
Include STEP, STP or PDF files, quantities and requested material or inspection records. Keep fabricated-panel supply distinct from a completed electrical product and its separately specified performance acceptance.
