Give the custom aluminum housing its own drawing and supplied-part definition. The example is an elongated open form with perimeter walls, fixing bosses, internal ribs and a raised central region containing a row of openings. Its shape does not independently establish an engine model, fluid function or complete automotive assembly.
Map the walls and internal interfaces
Provide the overall envelope and the internal spaces required by the assembly. Locate perimeter fixings, bosses, ribs and the central openings from the component datums. Include section views and mating parts where they clarify hidden geometry, clearance or the finished contact arrangement.
Identify surfaces requiring machining after casting. Dimension holes, seating faces and other finished interfaces with the limits and inspection methods that govern acceptance. The image does not supply a particular hole pattern standard or demonstrate compatibility with a named vehicle.
Select the actual alloy and delivered condition
ADC12 is a material direction in the title. Specify the actual alloy and condition required by the order, with the material records relevant to that choice. The general aluminum entry and metallic appearance do not independently verify the composition of the pictured sample.
Agree the die-casting, deburring, machining and finishing scope for the selected drawing. Precision wording should be expressed through actual feature tolerances rather than a universal capability claim. Choose coating or another treatment for the chosen metal, identifying fit-sensitive surfaces and final-condition dimensions.
Define the housing and application acceptance
- Provide the controlled housing and mating drawings.
- Select the actual alloy and material documentation.
- Locate bosses, ribs and internal opening relationships.
- Mark casting, machining and finishing requirements.
- Specify supplied parts and application-specific inspection.
State whether the request includes only the housing or additional covers, seals or fasteners. If sealing or another functional requirement matters, provide the complete assembly and relevant acceptance criteria; the open housing image does not establish a rating. Confirm quantities and the records expected at delivery. A useful enquiry links one housing specification to its actual material, finished interfaces and automotive application evidence.
