The machining example has a broad recessed pocket, a smaller corner recess and curved channels across its outer edges. The custom drawing should define each pocket and its relationship to the surrounding rim, including the required floor and wall thicknesses.
Prototype and manufacturing review
Specify the pocket depths, corner radii, overall outline and any fitted or cosmetic surfaces. Identify the features requiring milling, turning or other secondary machining. For prototype enquiries, provide the intended evaluation quantity and the later production quantity separately.
S2307 lists aluminum alloy, customized sizes and anodized, oxide or powder-coated finishes. The listed minimum order is 100 pieces; confirm a separate prototype arrangement where required. PDF, CAD, IGES and STEP formats are listed. Include revision and final acceptance requirements with the quotation request.
