Specify the tubular housing and the separate parts included in the order. The example is a blue tube-like component with external threads at both ends and two cap-like pieces with internal threaded regions. This arrangement does not establish a complete sealed enclosure, electrical assembly or rated pressure-containing product.
Define the tube and end-cap engagement
Provide the internal space, outside contour and length of the body, with the geometry of each end cap. Specify thread form, size and engagement from the mating drawing. Identify shoulders and contact faces that locate the parts, and state the clearances needed by any internal assembly.
- Identify body and cap drawings with their revisions.
- Dimension the tube, threads and engaging shoulders.
- Select actual material and compatible surface treatment.
- State which parts and assembly operations are included.
- Define dimensional, appearance and application acceptance.
Choose the machining and finished condition
Select the actual aluminum grade or another explicitly agreed material. The broad material menu does not identify the sample's composition. Blue appearance also does not independently prove anodizing; specify the required treatment, color and supporting records for the selected material.
Mark surfaces requiring turning, milling or other secondary work. The listed 3/4/5-axis and gantry options are routes to assess for the geometry, not proof that the photographed part requires or has undergone every setup. Protect threads and fit-sensitive surfaces where the selected finish affects assembly.
Agree the delivered housing requirements
The ±0.02 or drawing-requirements reference needs units, affected features and inspection criteria. It does not establish universal precision for every thread and wall. Industry, medical and auto-spare labels are application contexts, not independent approval for those uses. Provide the actual operating environment and any sealing, electrical or other evidence required by the design; none follows from the tube and caps alone. Confirm quantities and the complete supplied condition. A clear enquiry links one housing assembly to its material, machining, finish and inspection scope rather than treating a catalogue appearance as a finished product rating.
