Conical steps around a central opening
The examples have central bores surrounded by stepped and tapered circular profiles. Define the bore axis and reference face, then dimension the taper, shoulders and lengths controlling contact with the mating component.
For aluminum or stainless steel CNC turning, specify the required grade and material condition. Mark any secondary milling or drilling and state the finish needed at working and cosmetic surfaces.
