The main example is an elongated plate with recessed through holes and a separate pattern of threaded holes. Establish the locating faces and hole centers together so the mounting pattern can be checked against the mating assembly.
Drawing revision for prototype and machining review
Model Dmetal-200389 lists aluminum alloy, with brass among the machining capabilities, and includes rapid prototyping, turning, milling and drilling services. Specify the actual grade, quantities and prototype stage in PDF, CAD, IGES or STEP drawings. Identify any turned features separately from the milled plate. Include counterbore depths, thread requirements and inspection dimensions, then agree the required finish for the selected metal.
