Identify the cover, base or other enclosure component required by the actual project. The light examples show a bent cover and an open base with slots, holes and upright fixing details. Their grouping does not establish a matched supplied pair, actual metal grade, common thickness or verified assembly fit.
Coordinate the cover and base contact regions
Provide individual flat and formed drawings with the enclosure assembly relationship. Locate slots, openings and fixing details from functional datums, defining contacts and clearances between adjoining pieces. Specify inserts, fasteners and any joining or assembly work separately, with quantities assigned to each required configuration.
- Identify cover, base and frame drawing revisions.
- Select actual material and thickness per component.
- Locate slots, walls and upright fixing contacts.
- Define cutting, forming and supplied hardware.
- Agree finished-part and assembly acceptance records.
Choose material and fabrication operations by piece
Aluminum, steel, copper, stainless steel and brass are separate material options. State actual grade and condition, including stainless steel 316 only where requested. Define laser cutting, stamping, bending, drilling and assembly against each controlled design rather than assuming all operations apply to both photographed pieces.
Inspect interfaces after the selected finish
Choose compatible paint, powder coating, plating or polishing, including masking and appearance criteria at mating regions. Express tolerances in units and define final measurement conditions. Any airflow, sealing, load or automotive requirement needs actual service conditions and appropriate evidence, independently of the open enclosure form.
Provide CAD, DWG, STEP, PDF or IGS geometry, per-item quantities and material documentation. General equipment or certificate entries establish no current machine ownership, applicable certification or completed-enclosure qualification.
