Define the open frame through its broad upper panel, bent sides and lower mounting feet. The dark example has fixing openings across the top and elongated side slots. These visible details do not establish actual alloy, sheet thickness, allowable loading or a complete supplied assembly.
Relate the upper panel to the mounting feet
Provide flat and formed drawings showing the side regions and working contacts. Locate holes, slots and feet from assembly datums and identify adjoining components. Specify any inserts, fasteners or joined pieces separately, including which items form part of the proposed delivery.
Select the sheet and manufacturing operations
Galvanized sheet, steel, aluminum and stainless sheet are separate material choices. State the actual grade, condition and thickness with required documentation. Define cutting, stamping, bending and any secondary CNC work according to the controlled geometry rather than treating a general process menu as proof of the example's production history.
Specify compatible finish and measurable acceptance
Choose the actual coating or surface requirement for the selected material, with masking and appearance criteria where needed. Mark tolerances with units and final measurement conditions at mounting contacts. Mechanical, environmental or functional requirements need actual service conditions and applicable evidence.
- Reference the open frame and formed drawing revision.
- Specify actual sheet grade and thickness.
- Dimension upper openings, side slots and feet.
- Define fabrication, secondary work and selected finish.
- Agree installation checks and required inspection records.
Include PDF/CAD or IGES/STEP/STP geometry, quantities and material documentation. Keep the component scope distinct from any completed equipment installation and its separately specified load or qualification requirements.
