Pockets and bores share a common reference system
The illustrated component has open pockets, upright webs, circular openings and mounting features on several faces. Define the reference surfaces and bore axes before locating the surrounding pockets and fixing details.
Specify the aluminum or stainless steel grade and the required CNC milling operations. Where wire EDM is required, identify the exact features and inspection needs separately from the milled geometry.
