Mounting holes on perpendicular faces
The example has an angled bracket form with holes through both mounting faces. Define the angle and face relationship first, then dimension the holes from the surfaces that locate the part in its assembly.
For steel, brass or aluminum machining, identify the selected grade and required milling or drilling. Show any turned feature separately on the component drawing and specify the treatment appropriate to that material.
Inspection of the assembly interfaces
Provide quantities and the current drawing revision. Include mating fasteners, contact-face requirements and inspection criteria for the hole positions, face flatness and relationship between the mounting surfaces.
