Circular recess and side mounting flange
This housing example has a broad circular recess, a smaller central bore, a ring of fixing holes and a side flange. A custom machining drawing should relate the bore and recessed face to the outer mounting points and the flange position.
Information for machining review
Specify the recess diameter and depth, central-bore fit, hole pattern and flange dimensions. Show section views where they define internal clearances. Identify the faces used to locate the component and the surfaces requiring inspection after machining.
Aluminum, steel and brass are listed material choices for the CNC turning and milling service. State the chosen grade and final surface treatment, including any masking around fitted diameters.
