Forks, tubular ends and mounting interfaces
The examples include a fork with opposing eyes, tubular components, a small two-hole flange and a curved open link. Identify the required component on your drawing and dimension the mating interfaces. Fork spacing, eye alignment and flange-hole positions need clear references rather than dimensions taken from a photograph.
For a 304 stainless steel or carbon steel investment-casting enquiry, state the material standard and casting-grade designation, along with any heat-treatment or surface-condition requirement. The grade for each component must be agreed separately; a group photograph does not identify the alloy of every example.
Send PDF or CAD drawings with IGES or STEP geometry where available. Mark which holes, bores and contact faces require machining, give the quantities per part and identify the dimensions to include in the inspection report.
