Body texture and fixing geometry are separate requirements
The examples show colored cylindrical bodies with textured surfaces and several mounting-end arrangements. Define the body diameter and length separately from the holes, slots and end flats used for installation.
For aluminum, stainless steel, brass or copper CNC machining, state the selected alloy and material condition per part. Identify turning, milling and any required texture-forming operations on the drawing.
Finish after machining
Specify the treatment and color, including any masked contact surfaces and dimensional allowances. Provide quantities, mating-component information and inspection criteria for the finished mounting features, using a drawing revision for each design.
