Define the enclosure panel separately from any installed controls. The dark bent example has two large round openings, smaller fixing holes, other cutouts and printed control-like markings. Those details do not prove live electronics, a particular control function or a completed qualified enclosure.
Locate openings and markings from assembly datums
Provide flat and formed geometry showing the round openings, rectangular regions and fixing contacts. Identify adjoining panels, instruments or other components where they control fit. Specify printed symbols and their orientation from the actual artwork requirement rather than assuming the example establishes the intended electrical function.
- Identify the enclosure panel and mating assembly.
- Select actual alloy grade and sheet thickness.
- Dimension cutouts, holes, bends and contact faces.
- Define powder coating and any required artwork.
- Agree formed-panel and assembly acceptance evidence.
Choose the metal and fabrication scope
Aluminum, stainless steel and iron are separate material directions. State the actual grade and condition for the order, then define cutting, stamping and bending as required by the controlled design. Identify edge finishing, joining or inserts separately where included.
Accept the component in its finished condition
Specify coating system, color reference and masking at working surfaces. Give dimensional limits for the control-panel cutouts, fixing holes and bends, with units and the finished coating condition for fit checks. Any sealing, electrical, mechanical or environmental requirement needs actual service conditions and applicable tests; printed symbols do not establish qualification.
Provide STEP, STP or PDF panel drawings, artwork revisions, quantities and required material or inspection records. Distinguish the fabricated panel from instruments, electronics and any separately defined completed enclosure, including its actual assembly and acceptance scope.
