Define the oval electronic-box shell separately from a completed electronic product. The three examples show handle-like upper openings and rectangular front regions in different color combinations. Their appearance does not establish a common fit, installed electronics, ABS formulation or an insert-molding operation.
Relate the front region to the mating shell
Provide sections, perimeter geometry and the actual opening or recess definition on controlled drawings. Identify fixing locations, adjoining parts and any seals or fasteners required. Distinguish the component-only delivery from a complete box assembly, with individual references for different shell configurations.
- Identify each oval enclosure shell and revision.
- Dimension upper opening, front region and contacts.
- Select the shell's actual ABS formulation and condition.
- Define inserts, color reference and selected finish.
- Agree interface checks and assembly evidence.
Specify insert molding and finish where required
State the actual insert material, connection details and retention requirements if insert molding forms part of the order. Define the chosen color reference and sandblasted, gloss or matt appearance independently. Different surface colors do not prove finish chemistry or the construction behind an external shell.
Accept the enclosure against its intended application
Mark drawing tolerances with units and final measurement conditions. Any sealing, electrical, mechanical or environmental requirement needs actual service conditions and applicable assembly tests. A box-like name or photograph establishes no ingress-protection level or completed-product qualification.
Include PDF/CAD or IGES/STEP geometry, quantities and required material or inspection records. Keep the supplied shell, inserts and any separately requested assembly parts explicit, with individual drawing revisions for each configuration.
