Define the angular housing from its large circular opening and lower semicircular cutout. The black example also shows a flat base region, raised bosses and connecting ribs. The photograph establishes visible form, but does not provide actual dimensions or confirm how small the delivered component will be.
Dimension the openings from the base
Show the housing section and the relationship between the circular opening, lower cutout and fixing bosses. Identify mating components, contact surfaces and installation clearances. Mark whether any insert, closure or fastener belongs to the supply rather than assuming that the example represents a complete assembled housing.
- Identify the angular housing and actual dimensions.
- Locate circular openings and bosses from datums.
- Choose the required ABS or alternative resin grade.
- Define molded appearance and supplied accessories.
- Agree fit checks and application evidence.
Select resin and the molded condition
ABS is one material direction; other listed plastics require separate formulation and condition requirements. Specify the chosen grade, color and matt appearance with relevant material records. A black finish does not establish resin identity, electrical approval or a verified service-temperature limit.
Set acceptance for the working interfaces
Provide drawing tolerances with units and measurement conditions at the openings, base and mounting features. Any functional, mechanical or environmental requirement needs actual operating conditions and suitable test methods. General tolerance information cannot establish compatibility with a particular machine or assembly.
Include PDF/CAD or IGES/STEP geometry, quantities and the requested inspection documentation. Define the component and supplied scope clearly so the molding quotation can be assessed against the intended housing installation.
