Define the forked component through its parallel prongs and lower stem. The three black examples have small side projections and differing upper arrangements. Their appearance helps identify the requested form, but does not establish a particular resin formulation, electrical function or interchangeable mounting interface.
Dimension the prongs from the stem
Provide sections and assembly datums that connect the upper forks to the cylindrical lower region. Show prong spacing, projection details and the actual mating components. Identify which features control guidance, retention or clearance without assigning a function solely from the example photograph.
Select the precise plastic formulation
ABS, PP and PA6 appear in the service direction, while other listed resins require separate selection. PA6 and PA66 should not be treated as the same material specification. State the actual grade, condition, color and required matt appearance, with relevant material documentation for the order.
Define molded-part acceptance at working interfaces
Mark drawing tolerances with units, datums and measurement conditions. The generic tolerance reference is not an unrestricted guarantee for every prong, stem or assembly fit. Any mechanical, environmental or electrical requirement needs actual operating conditions and an applicable acceptance method.
- Identify the forked component and drawing revision.
- Dimension prongs, stem and side projections.
- Select one exact resin grade and condition.
- Specify molded finish and required color.
- Agree interface checks and delivery documentation.
Provide PDF/CAD or IGES/STEP geometry with quantities and required records. Separate any different prong configurations on the component schedule, and identify whether additional inserts or hardware are included rather than assuming a complete assembly is supplied.
