Conical ends above a threaded body
The illustrated components have open centers, stepped conical ends, external threads and side holes. Define the bore and cone geometry from the center axis, including the thread form and location of secondary features.
Specify the required production stage
For CNC turning and milling, identify the alloy and finished dimensions. If a 3D-printed prototype is requested, state its material and evaluation purpose separately from the requirements for the machined component.
Provide the CAD model, drawing revision and quantities. Include mating interfaces, finish and inspection criteria for the threads, bore and tapered end.
