This aluminum heat sink profile has a flat base and parallel longitudinal fins across its width. Custom LED heat sink enquiries should define the mounting contact area together with the finned section and the space available in the lighting assembly.
Section information for quotation
- Show the base thickness, overall width, fin height and fin spacing.
- Specify the finished length and any holes, cutouts or end machining.
- Identify the mounting surface and the dimensions needing inspection.
6063 and 6061 aluminum are listed material options, with machining available. State the selected alloy and temper and provide the heat load and installation conditions for project review.
Anodized, oxide and powder-coated finishes can be considered for the required color and surface condition. Mark contact faces or fixing holes that need masking. Include quantity and drawing revision so the proposed extrusion, secondary operations and finish cover the same ordered design.
