Identify the individual aluminum profile or hardware component needed for the window or door project. The example contains an assortment of long pieces with different bends, recesses, colors and finishes, together with a rectangular frame-like item. It does not define one complete window or door system.
Select the item and its mating assembly
Provide a separate drawing for each required component, showing the section, length and fixing details. Locate the surfaces that meet a frame, panel or adjacent hardware item. If a photographed piece is being used as a reference, identify it clearly and supply the dimensions that govern its function in the actual assembly.
The general parameter table also contains heat-sink and T-profile references. Those fields should not replace a controlled drawing for the selected window, door or hardware component. Likewise, the appearance of a long profile does not establish compatibility with a particular frame system or installation method.
Define material and anodized finish
Agree the extrusion and secondary-operation scope for the drawing rather than automatically adopting a historical general casting field. The ±0.05mm reference also needs affected features and measurement criteria before it can define acceptance. Where anodizing affects mating dimensions or contact surfaces, identify the finish and masking requirements together with the drawing.
State the installation requirements that matter
- Specify the actual alloy condition, including 6063 where required.
- Provide the section and length for each selected item.
- Mark fixing holes, contact faces and secondary machining.
- Identify color, finish and any appearance acceptance criteria.
- Set dimensional limits and inspection for the supplied condition.
If structural, weather or other building-component qualification affects selection, define the requirement and obtain evidence applicable to the actual design. Neither a catalogue title nor a photograph establishes an approval or the performance of a complete assembly. Confirm the order quantity, included components and delivery scope. A useful enquiry links one selected profile or hardware item to its mating geometry, material, finish and acceptance records, rather than relying on the assortment as a common specification.
