Define the aluminum enclosure profile and the parts required to complete the assembly. The example is an elongated dark section with an open rectangular end, a broad flat upper face and internal longitudinal rails or grooves. These details help identify the housing direction, while the actual section and supplied scope must follow the drawing.
Draw the internal engagement and closures
Provide the cross-section, cut length and the dimensions that control the fit of adjoining parts. Show how any internal rails or grooves are used and identify the components they must engage. Locate wall thickness, contact surfaces and mounting references from the assembly datums.
State whether the order includes end plates, covers, fasteners or only the profile body. Mark cutouts, fixing holes and any CNC-finished interfaces required by the selected design. The open-ended example does not establish a complete sealed enclosure or a protection rating.
Choose the material and anodized finish
- Specify the actual alloy condition, including 6063 if required.
- Provide the controlled profile and assembly drawings.
- Identify rail engagement, closures and mounting interfaces.
- Define black anodizing, masking and secondary machining.
- State inspection criteria for the final supplied condition.
Agree the actual extrusion and secondary-operation route rather than treating a historical general sand-casting field as compulsory. The broad temper and ±1% references do not replace feature-specific dimensional limits. Identify surfaces where finishing affects fit and state the condition in which those interfaces are to be measured.
Specify the environment for the actual assembly
If sealing or environmental protection matters, provide the complete closure design and relevant acceptance requirements. Neither the title nor the appearance of the profile establishes an IP rating. Identify the operating environment, mounting arrangement and documentation required for the order. Confirm quantities and which assembly components are included. The quotation and inspection plan should describe the same section, finish and supplied scope so that the delivered profile can be accepted against a defined design.
