Hollow profile with an externally finned body
The illustrated extrusion has a broad internal cavity, longitudinal fins on the outside and small channels near the inner corners. For an enclosure-profile enquiry, the usable inner space and the outer mounting or cooling features need to be dimensioned on the same section drawing.
Provide the internal width and height, wall and fin dimensions, end length and corner-channel details. Include any mating end component if it determines fit. State separately whether covers, inserts or other hardware are included in the requested supply.
Material, machining and finish
The listing names 6063 aluminum extrusion, with 6061 also available as a material option. Specify the ordered alloy and temper, together with any CNC-machined holes or end features. Identify inspection references for internal clearances and assembled interfaces.
Anodizing, oxide finishing and powder coating can be assessed for the selected material and color. Define the finish on internal and external faces, and mark any masking requirements. Submit quantities and a drawing revision; environmental sealing or thermal requirements require their own design and acceptance criteria.
